Our visit to Disney this past weekend was fun. Despite the heat and humidity we all had fun! Jake & Delaney are always troopers. As I said in my previous blog, the reason for the trip was to see my Sister~in~law, Dee & niece, Savannah. An added bonus was her friend, Jill and her daughters, Paris & Elle. Jill was very kind and Elle & Paris were adorable, polite and helpful girls. Paris took to Delaney right away and Elle was soon receiving hugs and kisses from Jake as they walked, hand in hand, through the parks. TOO CUTE! I expect that from Laney, but Jake surprised me at all the hugs & kisses he gave her. Sometimes I have to steal them from him and I'm his Mommy! But isn't that how it goes?!
Another first on this trip was Jake & Laney's first rollercoaster ride! Yep, they met the hight requirement to ride the rollercoaster, Barn Stormer, in Mickey's Toontown Fair! That was exciting! Laney was able to ride it twice (once while brother Jake was napping). I can't believe how big they're getting! Just yesterday, they were learning to walk and now they're walking around Disney World holding hands with girls & riding rollercoasters! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! LOL
We also road the monarail for the first time this trip! That was fun! And had I known that we could ride in the very front of the train I would have asked. Next time I will! We really enjoy every moment we are in Disney. From swimming in the gutiar shapped pool at our hotel to riding the bus that takes us to the park!
If you haven't had the chance to visit Walt Disney World you MUST! The minute you arrive you will transform into the kid you once were. And if you were lucky enough (like I was) to grow up with Disneyland in your back yard, to see it through your own children's eyes is amazing! It brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch them experience the Disney magic!
I'm already planning our next trip!
