Launch : Nursery 101! {Twins Nursery}

Today I am launching Nursery 101!
Nursery 101! is a design series featuring ideas and inspiration for your own nursery needs. In addition to design ideas we'll explore the world of babies and what every Mommy to be believes she needs.....and believe me....
you don't need the majority of the things you think you need!
To kick the series off I'm featuring our nursery that I
designed just 3 short years ago!
It's hard to believe that they are in separate bedrooms now and that I am gearing up to redecorate Laney's room {the nursery}

I chose a very "Pottery Barn Kids" feel.
Wall Color : Lettuce Alone [Olympic Paint]
Cribs : $199.99 ea. [Baby Love]
These cribs were a steal at $199.00 ea! Originally priced at $700.00 ea they were discounted due to possible defect in the lot. They were absolutely perfect! So look for discontinued or 'irregulars' because you never know what treasure you will find!
Crib Bedding : Babylicious [Target ~ online]
Corner Unit : [Pottery Barn Kids]
I wanted to make sure that I had some vintage touches in the room as well. I was very fortunate to receive the toddler rocker from my husbands family. It was his mother's when she was a toddler. I also included an afghan that my grandmother had crocheted. Touches of nostalgia and love from their grandmother and great grandmother watching over them.
I'd love to feature your nursery. Simply submit photos of your nursery {HERE}

  1. I love it!! The room looks great! My husband and I are planning on expanding our family in September, so we're buying up stuff now while we have the "extra" money. We're going with a paddington Bear theme, and I can't wait till we've got it put together... or for our little one(s) to enjoy it!!

  4. I can't seem to submit our nurseries because of my stupid laptop. I'm almost done with baby boy's nursery and I can email photos of my daughter's bird themed nursery if you want. Love the twin's nursery and can't wait to see Laney's big girl room!

  5. What a great series idea, and even though I'm not a mommy (yet), this room is adorable! A chance to grow my nursery inspiration archives? I'll take it!
