If you are lucky enough to have a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store in your area I highly recommend you check it out! Everything in the store is donated by homeowners and each item that is purchased helps to build a new home for a family in need! http://www.habitat.org/env/restores.aspx
Today Mr. HTB and I stopped by looking for a dresser (which I didn't find) for Jake's room and came home with this fanstic chair for his room instead! The second I walked in and saw the chair I sat down in it and had someone take it to the front of the store! The pictures of the chair aren't great I couldn't get our fur babies, Kiki and Karley, away from it! (I'll get a better one in the morning) but I see so much potential for this little find! For now, I'll steam clean it and it will go right into his room. My excitement for this chair is crazy! But when you find something that you think is fantastic........there's nothing better!

That chair rocks! Me think I need to check out the restore. Can you believe I've never been? Great find! Do you plan on re-covering it or leaving as is? Either way, it's great!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to leave it as is for now but will be going to Ikea to look for some funky patterned fabric! I love it too! The restore is really a great place! It's a bit messy, but it's a cool place! They have everything from kitchen and bathroom sinks to dining room sets. It's a hit and miss kind of place because it all depends on what's been donated.
ReplyDeletelove it!!!!!!!! so cute! great find. our Habitat for Humanity is not good - mostly construction materials and nasty old fridges... but we have a dang good Goodwill and Mission Thrift Store, and this is a good reminder that I haven't been lately! Must check it out!
